When Europeans first settled in the area in the 1790’s, Scarborough consisted mainly of farmlands and small townships. Since then, the area has grown into a widely diverse district of Toronto - one of the largest in the GTA - with much to offer residents and visitors.
Scarborough reflects a mosaic of cultures amongst its residents, all of which contribute to the rich multicultural fabric of this community. The Guildwood neighbourhood, also known as Guildwood Village, can be found along the Scarborough Bluffs, south of Kingston Road.
